Cody Gibson

Cody Gibson co-founded Renegades Training Center with his wife, Jackie, in 2026, bringing over 25 years of professional fighting and wrestling experience to Templeton. Raised in the Central Valley and known as a standout high-school wrestler, Cody continued his career at Bakersfield College and Menlo College, where he earned two All-American honors.

With more than 35 professional MMA fights across the globe since 2008 — and as an active UFC athlete — Cody delivers world-class expertise to every class he teaches. He has also medaled at multiple IBJJF World Championships and spent nearly 20 years sharpening his boxing and Muay Thai skills.

In addition to his competitive background, Cody spent ten years as a public school teacher and coach. That experience shaped his ability to break down complex techniques, communicate clearly with students of all ages, and create an encouraging, structured learning environment. His blend of elite-level experience and proven teaching skills helps define the culture and training quality at Renegades.
